Today is the Third Day of my Leave

Well lets jsut say that time flies.. as per usual, especially on your off days. It is something you look forward to for months, and finally when the time comes, you just chill out with nothing much done, kind of waste the time most people would die to have, to do their own thing. Well I must say... I have spend the first three days tinkering on the internet on how to create websites. By tomorrow or so, I think I would be an expert. Today I uploaded a mini-site, I created using templates to my hostgator account and I was quited thrilled by it. Yesterday and the day before I was tinkering with Microsoft Frontpage, which i have almost forgotten how to use. Thankfully, I managed to relearn what I have forgotten and created a dynamic website, which I think is the strength of Frontpage besides other things. Another use of Frontpage, is that it is easy to customize any templates with it. Just open and edit, cahnge the text, change graphics, and even add dynamic HTML effect like rollover buttons and so on. What really helped this time was a new software I discovered by ulead called Smart save. What it does is it allows you to slice your graphic into small pieces, and even optimize it, so you can upload your pages fast. Why is this useful? That means you can create any page and design you wish, and just slice it up and have a fully personalized website, which can be as cool as you wnat it to be. It doesn't have to be fixed to rectangular buttons and boxes which must fit in a certain way. Most websites these days are fluid because it can incorporate any graphic element when you use the slice features.. great or great? And since I have been able to put two and two together, I would say that is a huge progress. From now on I can tinkle with other things like CGI... audio and video. and of course pay pal. I wnat to master all these to promote and relaunch my book online, as well as to create websites in an instance, which is an excellent way to make money as well. I think they are all up my alley, and I should be able to put it all together by end of the day.
